We have found Dr Alison Birtle to explain in detail what is happening in a way that allows you understand.
She has a very professional yet approachable manner that helps in a very stressful situation. You can have a laugh with her as well.
She is very pleasant and always listens to what you have to say.
From first diagnosis to current day I have had first class service from Dr. Birtle and her team. I have been impressed by the extent and detail of her knowledge of prostate cancer, its development and treatment as well as her ability to keep abreast of recent developments in this field.
Always keeps you informed and has an excellent bedside manner.
A confident and compassionate practitioner who makes a first class role model.
I hesitate to say how this doctor could improve as I have, over a long time, been well
looked after. Well done.
Dr Birtle is not only an amazing doctor but also a lovely, genuine kind lady,i have this lady to thank for saving my dads life, for this we are eternally grateful to her.
My experience of doctor Birtle is she stands no nonsense and is straight talking but with this she is approachable and very understanding and will explain everything in detail making you not frightened to ask even the simplest of questions, putting it simply so we can understand all aspects of the disease and the treatment you will recieve.
Even though she is always very busy she always makes herself available to us to ask and see how my dad is doing, (this always makes his day )
Do as your told and listen too her!!!!
